The customer required a custom left-handed slingshot and provided a 2D technical drawing along with a clear concept of the desired design and functionality. Based on the supplied drawings and design requirements, our engineering team transformed the initial concept into a fully detailed 3D CAD model. During the development process, we carefully reviewed the dimensional specifications, structural layout, and intended usage scenarios to ensure that the final design accurately reflected the customer’s vision while maintaining manufacturing feasibility and structural integrity.
A key focus of the project was the optimization of the handle and grip area. Using ergonomic design principles, we redesigned the grip contours to better match the natural shape of the human palm and fingers. The handle geometry was refined to improve hand positioning, enhance grip stability, and reduce pressure concentration during use. Special attention was given to the left-handed orientation of the slingshot, ensuring that the product provided a natural and intuitive holding experience for left-handed users. Through multiple design iterations and ergonomic evaluations, the final handle profile achieved a balance between comfort, control, and aesthetics.
