The customer wanted to develop a custom color-layered laminated wood recurve bow but only provided several reference images without any technical drawings or dimensional specifications. Based on these visual references, our design team carefully analyzed the bow’s overall style, proportions, limb profile, riser shape, and aesthetic features to create a complete set of 3D design drawings and manufacturing specifications.
During the design process, special attention was given to the layered wood construction and color combination. We worked closely with the customer to select suitable wood species and determine the optimal arrangement of contrasting wood layers to achieve the desired visual effect. Multiple color and material combinations were evaluated to balance appearance, material characteristics, and manufacturing feasibility. The bow profile was refined to preserve the visual identity shown in the reference images while incorporating practical design considerations for production and structural consistency.
Using advanced CAD modeling, we transformed the customer’s ideas into a detailed digital model, allowing the customer to review the appearance, proportions, and color-layer arrangement before production. This process ensured that the final design accurately reflected the customer’s expectations while maintaining a high-quality and professional finish.
